More Than Signs.
A Branded Campus Experience.
NORTH METRO BAPTIST CHURCH
A new campus was more than a construction project and more than just signs. It was an opportunity to bring a brand story to life in a real-life environment. Translating a new brand identity into an experience people could actually navigate, understand and remember.
North Metro Baptist Church was preparing to relocate to a newly constructed campus in Braselton, Georgia. I partnered with Aaron Skinner of PhilCo Design, who had developed the church's new brand identity and story. Together, our goal was to bring that brand to life within a physical environment that felt cohesive, welcoming, and intuitive from the moment someone arrived.
The challenge extended far beyond the design itself. With more than 300 branded signage and environmental elements across an entirely new campus, the project required a scalable system that could deliver a cohesive brand experience while also organizing the design, production, budgeting, approvals, vendor coordination, and installation of hundreds of unique elements within a fixed construction schedule.

Rather than treating hundreds of branded elements as individual design projects, I organized the entire program into five functional categories based on how people move through and experience the campus. That framework became the foundation that guided the entire process, from creative development and production templates to estimating, budgeting, vendor coordination, and installation.
Designing the system also transformed the creative process. Instead of solving more than 300 problems independently, we developed repeatable standards, templates, and production documentation that maintained consistency while making the project significantly faster and more efficient to execute.
From there, each element moved through a structured process of prototyping, material selection, engineering, production, and installation. Every decision supported the same goal… creating a seamless brand experience that felt intentional from arrival to destination.

Prototyping, Production & Installation
Behind every finished experience is a tremendous amount of planning, coordination and execution. Prototyping is an essential step prior to production and installation that ensures every element is scaled to fit the environment accurately.
The Finished Experience
The result was a campus experience that felt cohesive and intuitive, with every element working together to communicate the brand story and help guests confidently navigate the campus.
